watching him sit there all alone made me feel really… melancholy. he was selling home-made ang ku kuehs and a certain kind of cake (I can’t remember the name, ugh) and though he sat there looking all glum and lonely, whenever someone came by to buy something, he had the widest gummy smile that could melt anyone’s hearts.  all old people remind me of my ah ma who passed away 2 years ago. can’t help but feel so sad and lost whenever I see someone old all alone.
